I hope you die!!
NO ONE CARES
F*ck yeah we care!!!!!!
Who is the guy with the swastika tat on his chest?
Sadly I only got little more that half.
NM, I didn’t notice the answer key.
I think it’s American History X, good movie with Edward Norton. Violent, though
Great movie!
edward norton from american history x
American History X – see it if you haven’t already
He’s from American History X
is it bad that i “identified” the beatles first?
No.
I did the same thing.
Me three.
same…
Same here!
I think that is excellent and I am surprised that I didn’t see them immediately, I started at the top and got clockwork orange, Marilyn and mr t, Silence of the lambs, wizard of Oz and star wars….and BOOM!there they were!
if you’re referring to the guy in the first row with the middle-hair, that’s not mr. t but travis, played by robert de niro in taxi driver.
just sayin’
which ones are the beatles?
lol, same here!! Obsessions tend to do that xD
EDWARD SCISSORHANDS
the guy with the swastika on the chest is edward norton
he played a neonazi in “American History X”
Ok… so these are supposed to be icons? To be iconic means easily recognized by everyone. While I can spot most of these, I hardly think John Goodman’s character in ‘The Big Lebowski’ is iconic (good role, though).
Also, where the heck is SHATNER????
i think it is more about the movies than the charter cause it seems like most of the movies have two or more charters grouped together
The one by Gunnery Sgt. Hartman from Full Metal Jacket I thought was Shaun from Shaun of the Dead til I saw the hair color.
Ed Norton from Fight Club
three icons for the matrix and three for pulp fiction, three for star wars, four for the beatles, three for reservoir dogs, two for fight club but only one for the lord of the rings??? please people c’moooooon!!!!!
I see two ..
oops! theres gandalf sorry guys…
S’OK. I thought Gandalf was Moses from the Ten Commandments before I read the answers.
I did too until i saw Frodo right next to him. haha
Me too! I want more of these. They’re fun.
I’m not finding gone with the wind….
Rhett Butler: bottom row, #7 from left
I thought Rhett stands between Superman and the Bride from Kill Bill!
I think it’s definitely Rhett Butler between Superman and the Bride because he’s got the old fashion vest and collar. I think the one in the bottom row next to Woody Allen is Citizen Kane or sth.
I think Rhett’s on the bottom row because he has those “Frankly my dear I don’t give a damn” eyebrows.
although.. the one in the bottom row has the typical Rhett Butler eyebrows.. now I am torn!
“I thought Rhett stands between Superman and the Bride from Kill Bill!”
NAH THAT’S CITIZEN KANE§§§§
You are absolutely right! That’s Kane’s vest and Rhett’s eyebrows in the bottom row
No Bruce Campbell? F*ck you list!
I only quickly scanned through, but I did know quite a few.
Where’s mr T?
top row… fifth one… easiest to spot.
I hate to be the “actually” guy, but actually, that’s Travis Bickle from Taxi Driver
not to mention that Mr. T is black… with giant gold chains round his neck..
and doesn’t dress like a gay cowboy
^^^Thinks Mr. T is white….
Black Knight should not have legs.
He lost his arms before he lost any legs, this is obviously a work-in-progress.
He added f*cking Beatles as actors, SW, Robocop and Superman yet he omitted Marty and the professor from Back 2 the Future? Pffshh..
A lot of these are so anonymous I cannot find the modern movies.. like American Beauty.. this invites to make a list of my own..
and who is the knight without arms in the bottom row?
For that offense, you must bring us a shrubbery.
Ohhhh right. Right.
Ni effin way! Shrubberies are too expensive. I can bring you a Crunchy frog.
I’ll take a hovercraft with eels, please.
Boba Fett sees somebody they forgot, cough cough…
However, the Fight Club, Fear $ Loathing, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Big Lebowski, and multiple other movies more then make up the fact that everyone’s favorite intergalactic badass is nowhere to be freaking seen.
Boba Fett echoes cjvs1604, however, this list needs more boomstick.
Fear & Loathing, not Fear $ Loathing.
Boba had a dyslexic moment, there.
The Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail FTW!

74. Lawrence of Arabia
96. Leatherface (Texas Chainsaw Massacre)
97. Rhett Butler (Gone With the Wind)
oh, and i just recognized the little possessed girl from the exorcist.
not c3p0- that is robot from “metropolis”-was the imspiration for c3p0. you will notice that the icon has robot boobs. there were no robo-boobies in star wars. at least not what george lucas released to the public. who knows what sort of thing he has in his private stash.
The robot’s name is “Maria” — and she (it) is part of the inspiration for C-3PO (that’s the correct spelling of his name, BTW); he is also based largely on Oliver Hardy.
The robot isn’t actually named Maria, it’s just made to look like her so it’s lascivious behavior will discredit her to the masses. However, the point stands that it is The Robot from Metropolis, who may or may not have been named Maria, and was definitely part of the inspiration for C-3PO.
I found EVERYBODY
but
The 2 characters at the right side of LEIA aren’t in ur movie’s list!
The image isn’t complete, so i considered that this is chewbacca and the emperor nearly Leia.
http://images.cheezburger.com/imagestore/2010/8/24/9d6545bf-493d-4490-8f4a-0d0916915cd4.jpg
6th from top left is Jodie Foster in Taxi Driver.
The two next to Leia are from American Beauty.
Exactly, the 2 next to Leia are Kevin Spacey after he quit his job and Mena Suvari the naughty cheerleader from American Beauty.
Tony Montana doesn’t have a scar on his face!
But the blonde dude in third bottom row between Rosemary and Shaft has.. who is he?
I think its the guy from Momento.
Who is next to Nurse Ratched?
Memento, not Momento , sorry.
I’d guess Randall, Jack Nicholson’s character.
ARE THOU SUUUURE?
I can answer all of them at once.
They all came from South Park.
I got 42. Ironic, because Marvin from Hitchiker’s is one of the characters on here.
1) No irony.
2) No Marvin.
Check your facts, and your vocabulary.
I’m 90% sure it’s Gort from The Day The Earth Stood Still… always that 10% though.
#30 looks like the girl from “Run lola Run”
Yes, aka Lola Rennt. It’s on the list.
Marx Bros ftw!!
Where’s Harry Potter?
i miss him on here, too.
i made gandalf into dumbledore at first.
they have chaplin for city lights but no keaton? laame~~
i would rather see the characters from “the usual suspects” than “american beauty”
and what no “boondock saints”?
Aw, No jay & Silent bob?
Frankenfurter!! But no Jay/Silent Bob? No Boondock Saints? No Silent Hill? Bah. This list is made of fail… with a sprinkle of awesome.
no Michael Myers?
I see Ripley from ALIEN
I got about twenty people out of this…
Why is the Texas Chainsaw Massacre on here? I didn’t think it was that great…
Ummmm, because Leather Face is Iconic. You know, the whole point of this piece.
#86 Count Orlok from Nosferatu, eine Syphmonie des Grauens
he was a non-sparkly vampire:D Go real vampires!
So who’s the guy that looks like Father Mulcahy?
ANDY AND RED!
THEY HAVE NO EYES!!
Secondly: You’ve got red on ya.
Who’s between the Cowardly Lion and Vader?
Amélie Poulain
Here’s the list in order. The only ones I don’t really see are Raging Bull and American Beauty the others were all pretty obvious to me,
Row 1: Clock Work Orange, Easy Rider, Taxi Driver, Seven Year Itch, 2001, Gladiator, Silence of The Lambs
Row 2: Wizard Of Oz, Ameilie, Star Wars, Raging Bull
Row 3: The Exorcist, The Godfather, Hard Days Night, Run Lolla Run,
Row 4: Dr. No, Duck Soup, Day The Earth Stood Still, Apocalypse Now, Amadeus, Pulp Fiction
Row 5: Batman, Scarface, Planet Of The Apes, Reservoir Dogs, Frankenstein, Raiders of the Los Ark, Edward Scissor Hands
Row 6: Good The Bad The Ugly (Il Buno, Il Brutto, It Cattivo), Braveheart, Fear & Lothing In Las Vegas, Fight Club, Full Metal Jacket, Leon, 10 Commandments, Lord Of The Rings
Row 7: Scream, Forrest Gump, American History X, The Matrix, Rosemary’s Baby, Memento. Shaft, Saturday Night Fever
Row 8: Superman, Citizen Cane, Jill Bill, Lawrence of Arabia, Metropolis, Nosferatu, One Flew Over The Kuku’s Nest, American Beauty , Spartacus
Row 9: Rocky Horror, City Lights, Big Lebowski, Shawshank, Breakfast At Tiffany’s. Dr. Strangelove, Robocop, Nightmare on Elm Street
Row 10: Rocky, Aliens, Sound Of Music, Rebel Without A Cause, Holy Grail, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Gone With The Wind, Annie Hall, Singing In The Rain
I think you may have gotten Raging Bull and American Beauty mixed up (I can’t be 100% sure because I haven’t seen Raging Bull, but the last one in the second row looks like she’s supposed to be the cheerleader from American Beauty), and I’m pretty sure that’s Gandalf, not Moses (especially since The Ten Commandments isn’t listed as far as I can see), but otherwise I’m impressed.
#91: this is Robert de Niro in Raging Bull (story of Jack La Motta)! Rocky doesn’t appear in the list.
You missed the girl next Marilyn Monroe; Lolita. The 1962 film by Stanley Kubrick.
I am completely wrong that IS the girl from taxi driver. Her outfit is almost exactly the same as one from lolita.
HA! Guy Pierce from Memento! thats the first one I noticed, the little one in a tan suit and a cut on his face hehehe
I thought the one next to Trinity (row 7)was Norman Bates in his mum’s dress from “psycho”^
Ummmm, no. That IS Rosemary from Rosemary’s Baby. See the blue night gown? Was there a blue dress in Psycho? NO! It was a flower pattern. Rosemary wore a blue night gown thing
well I thought it was “periwinkle blue” YES! (no need to scream i’m not deaf…or blind^^)
Who is the one above Robocop, next to Spartacus? I don’t remember any character that looked like that from One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest.
@ Apathygrrl
I think it’s Chief Bromden
