  6. DAK23 says:

Ok… so these are supposed to be icons? To be iconic means easily recognized by everyone. While I can spot most of these, I hardly think John Goodman’s character in ‘The Big Lebowski’ is iconic (good role, though).

Also, where the heck is SHATNER????

    • BigDogW says:

i think it is more about the movies than the charter cause it seems like most of the movies have two or more charters grouped together

  7. PJMN says:

The one by Gunnery Sgt. Hartman from Full Metal Jacket I thought was Shaun from Shaun of the Dead til I saw the hair color.

and who is the knight without arms in the bottom row?

  15. Boba Fett says:

Boba Fett sees somebody they forgot, cough cough…

However, the Fight Club, Fear $ Loathing, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Big Lebowski, and multiple other movies more then make up the fact that everyone’s favorite intergalactic badass is nowhere to be freaking seen.

Boba Fett echoes cjvs1604, however, this list needs more boomstick.

    • emelyu says:

not c3p0- that is robot from “metropolis”-was the imspiration for c3p0. you will notice that the icon has robot boobs. there were no robo-boobies in star wars. at least not what george lucas released to the public. who knows what sort of thing he has in his private stash.

      • Sofa Spud says:

The robot’s name is “Maria” — and she (it) is part of the inspiration for C-3PO (that’s the correct spelling of his name, BTW); he is also based largely on Oliver Hardy.

        • Personage says:

The robot isn’t actually named Maria, it’s just made to look like her so it’s lascivious behavior will discredit her to the masses. However, the point stands that it is The Robot from Metropolis, who may or may not have been named Maria, and was definitely part of the inspiration for C-3PO.

  19. Guèg says:

    I found EVERYBODY

  37. AaronDude says:

Here’s the list in order. The only ones I don’t really see are Raging Bull and American Beauty the others were all pretty obvious to me,

Row 1: Clock Work Orange, Easy Rider, Taxi Driver, Seven Year Itch, 2001, Gladiator, Silence of The Lambs

Row 2: Wizard Of Oz, Ameilie, Star Wars, Raging Bull

Row 3: The Exorcist, The Godfather, Hard Days Night, Run Lolla Run,

Row 10: Rocky, Aliens, Sound Of Music, Rebel Without A Cause, Holy Grail, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Gone With The Wind, Annie Hall, Singing In The Rain

    • bionelly says:

I think you may have gotten Raging Bull and American Beauty mixed up (I can’t be 100% sure because I haven’t seen Raging Bull, but the last one in the second row looks like she’s supposed to be the cheerleader from American Beauty), and I’m pretty sure that’s Gandalf, not Moses (especially since The Ten Commandments isn’t listed as far as I can see), but otherwise I’m impressed.

    • Marley says:

You missed the girl next Marilyn Monroe; Lolita. The 1962 film by Stanley Kubrick.

    • Marley says:

I am completely wrong that IS the girl from taxi driver. Her outfit is almost exactly the same as one from lolita.

  38. Confection says:

HA! Guy Pierce from Memento! thats the first one I noticed, the little one in a tan suit and a cut on his face hehehe

  39. Frenchgirl says:

I thought the one next to Trinity (row 7)was Norman Bates in his mum’s dress from “psycho”^

    • What? says:

Ummmm, no. That IS Rosemary from Rosemary’s Baby. See the blue night gown? Was there a blue dress in Psycho? NO! It was a flower pattern. Rosemary wore a blue night gown thing

  40. Frenchgirl says:

well I thought it was “periwinkle blue” YES! (no need to scream i’m not deaf…or blind^^)

  41. Apathygrrl says:

Who is the one above Robocop, next to Spartacus? I don’t remember any character that looked like that from One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest.

  42. I was recommended this web site by means of my cousin. I am now not certain whether or not this submit is written by way of him as nobody else recognize such special approximately my trouble. You’re wonderful! Thank you!
