  1. Stuck in Ohio says:

    You know it’s true.

  2. Xenon says:

    There’s no relationship violence…

  3. Aaron Hong says:

The saddest thing about this? It’s OFFICIALLY spelled ‘Stephenie’.

  4. Heji Hattorri says:

This might be a dangerous case. Better let Kudo use that charm again.

  5. N/A says:

It’s really no worse than any other young adult fiction out there. It’s all fluffy and unrealistic. Anyone who is old enough to read Twilight is perfectly capable of reading books aimed at adults if they want something with substance.

  6. MotherOfPookah says:

Is that Jon Stewart throwing up a little on a book cover behind her?

  7. Zobiana says:

Idea. Don’t read it. Not really that hard.

  8. kurisu7885 says:

I started on Warhammer 40K Legends of the Space Marines.

    Adeptus Astartes FTW

  9. tigerlily says:

So this is what she looks like.
Now I know who I’m looking for.
    I’ll fetch my shot gun.

  10. shepp says:

WANTED – captioners who can take 5 seconds to google someone’s name. I’m impressed that her name is misspelled not once but twice on this post ><

    • Xenon says:

And misspelled two different ways, at that. I think it’s a bit hypocritical for someone to criticize any book when they type like they’re illiterate.

  11. Meh says:

Stephenie is written improperly both in the caption and under the image. I think we have another murderer on our hands. Although, who’s going to prosecute him? Does someone actually exist who is not of such a despicable nature? Perhaps so – but this can’t be a place for vain vanity.

  12. djkaiba says:

Ok…. I think everyone gets the picture. There are people who like the books and people who don’t. Great. Can we move on to some new material please?

    • Brainstospare says:

:fives you. Sorry for repeating you nearly word for word, didn’t read every single reply before venting my own.

Seriously, sick to death of the Twilight crap, the Britney crap, and oh my holy God the *endless* Bieber bashing & baiting. Somebody at cheezburger has some kind of sick fascination with that boy.

  13. Supahhero says:

and not to mention plagiarism. Seriously watch true blood

  14. ArchStanton says:

Thankfully Suzanne Collins released the third book in the Hunger Games trilogy this week. Great read for adolescents. Great read for adults. Great read period. It also gives young women a heroine who doesn’t need a man in her life in order for it to have any meaning.

    • Brainstospare says:

I finished Mockingjay about two hours ago, it was a wild ride. I’m over 40 but will read a good story wherever I find it and my daughter’s been after me to get to those for a long time. I read all three of them in the last three days, highly recommended!

  15. Brainstospare says:

Oh for crying out loud. A lady wrote some books. A bunch of people liked them. A bunch of other people didn’t. Life goes on, people. GET THE HELL OVER IT ALREADY.

Cheezburger submitters & editors, exercise a few brain cells and FIND SOME NEW MATERIAL!

  16. Celes says:

I’m not a fan of “Twilight” either, but on the contrary, Stephenie Meyer has actually helped more YA writers to get published and furthered the market in ways that never would have happened without a “blockbuster” novel. Writing quality aside, she -did- write something that’s been insanely popular, and that has gotten teens who wouldn’t read otherwise into books.

    Just saying.

  17. Carp says:

Actually the books are not that bad. They’re well thought of, quite nicely planned, and great page turners.

But I officially became a Twilight hater after Rob Pat got the role of Edward. For god’s sake, he destroyed Edward.

And Twihards are ANNOYING TO THE MAX.
