EMMA WATSON and Friends
Emma Watson is endorsing a new line of fair trade clothing by People Tree. They pay a fair wage for a fair day’s work, and Emma likes their clothing and believes in their cause.
All too often celebrities (like Sean Penn and others) talk a big game and think just because they carry a weapon they are doing some good. Then, every once in awhile, someone like Ms. Watson comes along and actually puts together a rational thought and a meaningful cause. It’s refreshing. Plus, she is SMOKING EFFING HOT. LADY GAGA
Even though Lady Gaga went to school with Nicky and Paris Hilton, it doesn’t mean they’re the same. (Um, y’think?!) But Lady Gaga felt like she had to prove that point in an interview with Britain’s Q magazine. She said, “It’s true [that we went to school together], but I don’t see [Paris] as an artist.” What I find fun about this comment is that Lady Gaga, who is only 24, clearly sees herself as the arbiter of all things art. If turning your hair into a giant bow is art then maybe making sex tapes is considered art in some parts of the world?
FYI, all of these virtuous ladies attended New York’s Convent of The Sacred Heart. Note to Convent of The Sacred Heart: You’re doing it wrong. Note to self: Don’t send children to Convent of The Sacred Heart.
