Apparently they can’t handle people expressing issues with the website, so they shut down comments completely. It’s childish, but not clear if it’s pizzabutt’s doing or the higher ups. I’m only slightly aware of all the drama, but I have read some of the comments regarding what happened. I think they should at LEAST post some explanation.
I found something on google, and on the results page it say something or other about too many negative comments lately, but when I click the actual link, it takes me to a video post in PK (Can’t see them on this computer, flash isn’t installed, dunno which one it is) but there’s no such explanation there. It’s pretty lame, IMO, of them to just shut down comments and not even address it.

Originally there was a comment from Pizzaburger about how “due to too many negative comments blah blah blah we are disabling comments until further notice.” Then they deleted that, but kept comments disabled.
Project Mayhem wants the comments back.
Yeah, it’s weird how the google search result still said that but it was gone from the website.
I call fail for deleting that statement. Even though I’m only slightly aware of the drama (I was aware of the seizure pic issue, though), I agree it was a total overreaction of the mod to start deleting comments without warnings, and to disable them entirely was absolutely ridiculous. Regardless if it was him or if it was his bosses. To not put up some sort of statement just adds insult to injury.
The negative comments were relating to a “lol” that made fun of a woman having a seizure, which the moderator refused to take down.
And he actually loaded that picture onto the site in the first place.
