ROFlash: Diablo Cody Will Force JGL and ScarJo to Be Ridiculous in Sure-to-be Horrible Movie

YOU'RE WELCOME

SCARLETT JOHANSSON

Move over vampires. Diablo Cody is hoping to usher you into oblivion while bringing zombies to the forefront—fast-talking, hamburger-phone-having, Moldy Peaches-loving zombies. From what we know thusfar, “Breathers: A Zombie’s Lament” stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a zombie in an undead support group who meets a lovely lady (Scarlett Johansson) that makes him feel better about the whole not-being-alive thing.

My spider senses are thinking this might be horrific, a la “Jennifer’s Body” (which had a semi-similar concept), but maybe I’m wrong. I’d like to think JGL has better taste than that, but he might have been tempted by something else (ahem, making out with ScarJo).

    • The other Sarah says:

Actually she’s been acting since she was ten and if you watch all the movies you can see her breasts gradually getting bigger between 1998 and 2003. Surgeon’s don’t do gradually.

  2. BPR says:

You’ve watched all her movies enough to have noticed a gradual change in breast size after each movie..?

  3. Wait, what? Scarlett Johansson has been seen acting?

  4. lonerenegade says:

I’m no pro at telling fake boobs from real ones, not unless I could see her naked anyways. XD

I *can* tell you, however, that she (and they) are gorgeous. ^^

  5. uberelena says:

“Breathers: A Zombie’s Lament” was a really awesome book, just for the record. You should read it before you go trashing the movie. I have high hopes, personally.

  6. Quint says:

    “ScarJo”? Seriously?

Could we PLEASE get rid of the ‘textspeak’ names, especially this one? Not sure that she’d like the connotation of being scarred..

  7. Mark E. DeSade says:

    Better rack…ScarJo or Christina Hendricks?

I think this decision needs some hands-on investigation.

  8. heather says:

She is wearing a lovely head scarf for a top.

@uberelena – Thank you for actually commenting on the post at hand. I agree, Breathers was a fantastic book.

  14. Shaun says:

Yeah, I read the book and really enjoyed it. I think JGL is a good choice for the main character, but I would never have placed Johanssen as the love interest.
And what the hell is with Hollywood optioning every book that sells more than five copies? I’m really getting tired of remakes and adaptations. I go to the movies to see something I haven’t already seen or read… Which pretty much means I don’t go to the movies much anymore.

    • Kevin Klawitter says:

Many of the most loved movies of all time remakes and adaptations (or both, like Humphrey Bogart in “The Maltese Falcon”, the THIRD time that novel had been made into a movie in 5 years).

Everybody on this website (especially the mods) has to stop trying to be so self-consciously “hip”. “Look at this popular thing, let’s mock it! That means I’m cool, clever, and funny, right?”. It’s just so darn transparent.

  15. angellus errare says:

I don’t know if anyone has put this up yet but reading the caption below the photo the movie idea[haven't seen jennifers body] sounds like it will be a higher budget “zombies anonymous” with a love story in the middle.

  16. God says:

Hey, this is God. Pretty sure I didn’t make her look like that.
