Okay, okay. I know a lot of you are complaining that there’s been too much “Doctor Who” stuff on here, but I really can’t pass this up. It’s a form letter (circa mid-’80s) responding to an industrious “Doctor Who” fan who wanted blueprints to construct his own Dalek.
“Unfortunately we are unable to assist with regard to names of suppliers for any items mentioned in the plans.” Gotta love the BBC.

Doctor Who will never end. In order for it to end, the jokes about everything else on this site will have to end as well, as everything is duplicated and replicated just as much as the DW stuff.

1)You should know that once you say “FIRST”, your opinion will no longer be considered, because you have failed the intelligence test.
2)Doctor Who is amazing. There are quite many of us who like it, so if you don’t, just don’t look at it. There are plenty of other posts.
The second part should be like:
“These plans are released in good faith and on the understanding that the constructed Dalek will be used only for personal uses. It must not be put to commercial use or to exterminate mankind or any other races.”

Hate to be a spoilsport but I think the blueprints are just to create a replica model of a Darlek not the blueprints that would have been used in the creation of ‘actual’ Darleks in the show/were such things possible. Hense their concern with copyright because you couldn’t build a replica Darlek and profit from it.

It was in a Blue Peter book as well! there was a lot of plastic balls cut in half,possibly glass fibre and a dustbin and definatley a real egg whisk and sink plunger,it also told you how to do the flashing lights with bits from a car and had hidden castors. Scout Troops used to do them as a project. and sticky back plastic but no squeezy washing up liquid bottle.lol

I don’t get why people are complaining about the Doctor Who. This site runs on user submissions and caters to what people want. Doctor Who is POPULAR right now. It’s only logical that it should occur a lot.
