You may recall the form letter from the BBC regarding blueprints for Dalek construction. At the time, I was all, “Yeah, nice letter, but WHERE ARE THE BLUEPRINTS?!”
Oh. Here they are. On a fan site that looks like it was built by Jukt Micronics. (Or view them in gallery form over at Blastr.)
Internet, how could I have ever doubted you?

Never mind building a dalek. Are there instructions for how the Doctor achieved such big hair? Enquiring minds want to know.
It was the 70′s – EVERYONE came with big hair! LOL
for which one?
Apparently, these are NOT the authentic BBC Dalek plans (that is, they are not the plans for the prop pieces used on the show). These plans came from some Radio Times promo piece celebrating the Dr Who 10th Anniversary.

OMG I NEED TO BUILD A DALEK
now wheres the selotape…
Hell, someone that knows how to hack can make a computerized one. Put a security camera in the eyestalk and have it yell EXTERMINATE when someone walks by.
Make it remote controlled too. I can see someone sending it into someone’s room at 3 in the morning.
Make sure you’ve bought some urine-destroyer with you to help in the clean-up.
Which one had the tricycle?
I wonder if Grant Imahara (of Mythbusters) has thought of building one of these…
assuming he’s a fan…. he probably already has…
Heh heh, Jukt Micronics. What an obscure reference.
