I think Keanu’s bitterness over Prancing Cera and Strutting Leo is getting a little bit embarrassing. WE’VE MOVED ON! We already cheered you up once! But even that wasn’t enough for you! Who could possibly look that sad while eating a cupcake?! A FRIGGIN’ DELICIOUS CUPCAKE! You just want attention. And we…well, we’re gonna give it to you, apparently.

That’s actually his happy face, it’s just tough to tell…
Keanu doesn’t look sad in this picture. He seems to be more like “Who are you and why are you taking pictures of me eating a muffin?”
Here’s an idea: maybe Keanu likes to eat muffins while sitting on benches?
I don’t think, this ist an emotional impression. I think he’s gut something between his teeth and ties to reach it with his tounge. (Therefore the chin is that far to the side.) – Or this simply is his last cupcake.
This is what I was thinking. But he also looks genuinely baffled as to why people take so much interest in him eating various foods.
It’s obvious that Keanu has dental issues. His teeth hurt, thus the sad/pained expressions while eating and his penchant for “softer” foods like sandwiches and cupcakes. Poor man. All his money and he can’t find a worthy dentist!!! When’s the last time you saw him smile and show his teeth? Ha! See? No one has seen them, therefore we can’t be certain this is not the truth.

yeah, either that or the photographer just caught him mid-chew. He looks a little annoyed, too.
I’ve never understood the “sad Keanu” meme. I like many of his movies, but the man only has about two expressions in his repertoire, and this one covers sad/thoughtful/serious/listening intently/etc. The other expression is “Happy Keanu”, and it only lasts a moment… So most pictures are going to have that vacant look. Actually, his pictures should be placed in that “Happy chair is happy” section– the one that features human expressions on inanimate objects.
Technically, this makes it three.
Looks more like an indifferent Keanu to me.
I would like speculation on whether the offending cupcake had sprinkles.
If I were Keanu, I would totally mug it up for a photo op like that. The guy probaby told him to “make Sad Keanu” face or something. And yes, I’m imagining sprinkles.
He looks like slightly out of shot he’s watching a mildly impressive panda-on-a-unicycle stunt.

Whoever wrote the description is just being a twat. He’s eating, while sitting on a bench. End of story. If you were captured mid-chew, you’d look the same. Those Keanu jokes are just getting annoying now.

What I wonder is, Is he in on it? I mean come on there seriously can’t be that many times that he eats alone and has that expression…I believe that he is trolling everybody by keeping these going.
