LADY GAGA
In a move not-all-that surprising, Lady Gaga’s Meat Dress will be preserved as jerky. According to designer Franc Fernandez, “The dress will go through a process where it becomes a sort of ‘jerky’ and will be archived.”
I’ve made jerky out of beef before, mind you, not Night Gown Beef, usually more like chuck steak. But there is no ‘sort of jerky’. It’s either jerky, or a hot mess. So good luck with your new project, Franky.

The reason you end up with a hot mess is because true jerkey isn’t dried by heat. It’s cold-dried. Use three or four new, clean furnace air filters, a couple of bungee cords to bind them together and a box fan to force air through it. Put it in a cool or cold, DRY place for a few days, and voila!
And yeah, I know I misspelled jerky…
Eh, when I worked at Black Forest Bison, we smoked it, and it was HOT. Needed mits to pull the rack out of the smoker.

Wow, Lady GaGa with clothes and glasses. I love her costumes. The meat dress was a little ewww, slimy but hey. Since this is GaGa let’s have a BBQ. I’ll bring the steaks if someone can pick up another bottle of propane. I’m out.
BTW I’m over here talking about Gaga because PK gave me the “comments closed” message when I had a lovely ordinal about Bigfoot ready to post. No explanation about why PK comments are closed. I didn’t see any problems with negative posts or comments about the moderator. Has a meltdown over closed comments the evening before Vladerday.
According to the person who made the meat dress, it actually was not slimy. The type of meat was quite dry.
…I think “evening gown” was the phrase you were looking for. A night gown is more PJ’s than award show garb.
