Apparently it’s Sesame Street Day here on ROFLRazzi. And shouldn’t every day be Sesame Street Day? No? OK, then.
The above clip, like the controversial Katy Perry segment earlier, is from the upcoming season of the perennial children’s institution.
When mining for child-appropriate content, a frosting-boobed pop star and a dark, sexy HBO program about vampires were the obvious first choices. I’m so glad they didn’t try to think outside the box and go with more preschool-friendly fare like Justin Bieber and GLEE.

MICHAEL BOLTON
Michael Bolton’s husky voice has returned to us. He wants to keep telling us things about men loving women and how that happens. He wants to let us tousle his now much shorter hair. But he’s not sure how to get our attention. He went on ‘Dancing With the Stars” but that’s not working quick enough. He needs something more powerful.
Ah, yes, invoke the Lady Gaga connection.
LG wrote a song for him before she was famous, something called “Murder My Heart.” And he loves it. He loves her. He loves her meat dress even though he’s been a vegetarian for 38 years. See, he’s just like us! Love him people, he needs your attention! He’s dying over there!

Katy Perry isn’t exactly known for “keeping it classy” by most people’s definitions, but surely she’d tone it down for a children’s TV show, right? Right?! Apparently she didn’t tone it down enough for many parents, who wrote in to PBS and asked for the segment to be cut. Angry parents got their wish, but not before everyone on the internet got a peek at segment. What do you think? Let us know by voting in the poll.

Well, now that I feel like I’ve seen The Town, I guess there is no reason for me to actually see it. Although I am curious to see Jon Hamm play someone other than Don Draper and Liz Lemon’s incompetent boyfriend on 30 Rock.
