When they first started televising Temple football games, and the players all had to sign a contract saying that, while on the field, they would not touch certain areas of their body [i.e., scratching oneself].
So when for no good reason he is in a play against Hofstra, and there is a hole in the defensive line, and he begins to run over a lineman who is down on the field, and the man gets up and HITS HIM in the worst place ….. he grabs in pain for his skull. Until they cut to commercial.
