  1. Brian Lake says:

    lol… no

  2. J.Smith says:

    Idiot. Star Trek rulez.

  3. varsityjews says:

That’s funny – where I come from, it’s the reverse

  4. Sara says:

Yeah, I know far more female Star Trek fans than Star Wars fans. That immediately increases the odds of somebody getting laid.

  5. sofa king says:

arguing about getting laid only proves to the world u r not getting any. admitting to being a trekkie or a star wars fan also proves to the world u r not getting any.

    • Sofa Spud says:

Not knowing how to type is a pretty good indication of what you’re using your left hand for while you’re online.

      • sofa king says:

wait, did you just complain about my spelling? or where you trying to say that my “flawed logic” is indicative of the fact that i must be masterbating… with my left hand at that! wrong on both accounts mr. spud, my logic is actually amazingly flawless, and i’m currently using my right hand. also, your mom.

    • james says:

If your female companions are concerned about which shows you watch… you’re doing it wrong.

  6. Loupy says:

Hm, because I can’t think of anyone who wants Luke.
Picard, Riker, Kirk, Spock.. They ALL get much play.
    The evidence speaks for itself.

  7. Orangello says:

Sooo having a hero who is enamored of his secret sister is conducive to the lovemaking, eh? There is an Arkansas joke in there somewhere.

  8. The Amazing Rando says:

I like both and I get laid. Although I’ve never bothered dressing up as Star Wars or Trek.

  9. Sofa Spud says:

Star Wars is nothing like Star Trek. Star Trek is a science-fiction milieu about human cultural development, and getting laid on alien planets; while Star Wars is a fantasy epic with spaceships and energy weapons, essentially Lord of the Rings in space.

And the deciding factor in getting laid isn’t whether you like one or the other (or neither, or both) — but rather, the difference between “Yeah, sure, it’s pretty cool” and wearing a prosthetic forehead to a convention.

    • The Amazing Rando says:

      The Spud nailed it.

      • Sarah says:

        Oh you lovebirds! :p

      • kitty questor says:

not Really since you’d be amazed how many of those people are getting laid

Also I agree I don’t see as it makes a difference Star Trek is science fiction is about Cultural and Social issues and the advancement of human society.

Where as Star Wars is space fantasy about the coming of age of Ankin Skywalker, and his fall from grace

    • diane says:

Star Trek got a deeper over the years, touching philosophic issues on: -what is humanity?
      -racism
      -scientific ethics
      -others

combined with big ships and lazors. Star Wars apparently was about Leia in a slave costume, and became about how hot was Darth Vader in the past.

    • Humans Are Fail says:

Cosplayers get laid too, hate to burst your bubble…

The deciding factor is not whether or not you like one or the other (or both) or whether or not you cosplay – the only ones who won’t be getting laid (in ANY fandom or hobby) are the ones that come off as desperate, creepy basement-dwellers.

  10. Dan says:

    EPIC FTW.

  11. leahs says:

This is wrong… It should be the opposite. Star Wars fans…. No. Just no.

  12. Perseus says:

You gonna hate on Star Trek?
Don’t get me wrong, Star Wars rocks. But so does Star Trek.
But, just because it’s so much fun…
    COMMENCE NERDWAR!!
Who wants a front-row seat and popcorn?

  13. Makronette says:

Funny I like Star Wars but am a massive Star Trek fan (met William Shatner and such) and yet your logic on Star Trek fans seems to fail since I get laid frequently… oh and I happen to be 3 months Pregnant, might want to revise your fail there ;)

    • starlinguk says:

I met a woman dressed up as the Borg Queen, carrying around a widdoo baby dressed as a borg. Mum was hot (and you couldn’t see she was expecting behbeh number 2 despite the tight suit) and baby was cuteness personified.

Gee, conventions used to be fun (this particular one being Voyager: the Return).

  14. Sargasm says:

Your choice of a screen shot featuring a couple of guys wielding huge, glowing phallic symbols with all their might speaks louder than the caption.

  15. gimli says:

Preeeetty sure boasting about either is gonna considerably lessen your chances of getting laid…but who the eff cares, both are freakin’ AWESOOOOMMMMMME!

  16. Jordie says:

I’m a woman and a fan of both, and I still think it should be the reverse.

  17. Scott says:

Who got laid more, Kirk or Skywalker? I rest my case.

  18. FranklyMyDear says:

Adult woman who likes both, here, hi! *waves* I do happen to like both Star Wars AND Star Trek, to the point of sometimes cosplaying, yes. Because cosplaying is fun, and winning competitions is better. I’m also smart, hot, have a life and get laid pretty often, by both beautiful girls and handsome guys, thank you very much. I alo know a lot of geeks who also happen to be hot, smart and get laid.

Can we just leave all those prejudices and those useless arguments aside? Geeks have to stick together, after all.

  19. luke pacard says:

both are assome both have equal chance of laidome(geting laid by a girl/boy{allthough i would like to point out if your a girl trying to get laid by a guy this probaly isn’t a problem at all})

  20. Good grief says:

My husband is a huge Star Trek fan, and has costumes. He gets laid regularly (I should know!).

Did you miss the whole geek-chic trend? How a lot of people think geeky=sexy?

    • Sarah says:

I think that since shows like the Big Bang Theory and the IT Crowd, geeks have improved in popularity. Yay! Then again, since almost everyone digs the geeks now, it’s harder for the geeky girls to find a fellow geek :(

  21. heyanamegoeshere says:

I’m a girl, who is a fan of Star Wars over Star Trek, but seeing as I’m under the age of 18 I don’t think my opinions count here.

  22. Nina says:

I love Star Trek, Star Wars and Firefly.

  23. hector says:

hmm the sentence itself is quite offending to both fans.

It sounds like, for people who get laid, star wars sounds like star trek, which is also a synonym for life time virgins :-P

  24. Lauren says:

My man and I both love Star Trek and we have lots of sex. Your argument is invalid!

  25. sithgirl13 says:

    NOOOOOOO IM SURROUNDED BY TREKKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
