Celebrity Cleavage Guess Who!

Untitled

Today’s Celebrity Cleavage Guess Who began her career on Nickelodeon. As she got older, she left the kid’s network and moved on to feature films. She has been called the Sexiest Woman in the World and, honestly, who could argue with that?

Good luck!

    I got it :D
    She;s so hot.

  2. Helen says:

This is incredibly offensive, objectifying and degrading. If this becomes a regular thing, I will not be returning to this site.

    • Not like the site will suffer with your departure.

    • pgrantm says:

I understand, and totally sympathize. See you later.

    • Dana says:

OMFG, it’s a shot of her cleavage, not completely naked with her legs spread open! And on top of that, if you don’t want people to look at your amazing, god given perfect breasts, DON’T WEAR A STRAPLESS DRESS. Wear a turtleneck, then no one can enjoy their beauty.
If you truly find something like this offensive, go write a Feminazi manifesto about how degrading our society is to women.
I hope to God that you’re a troll, looking for this exact reaction, but if you aren’t, then i have one small piece of advice for you: No one likes this kind of high handed crap. If you ever deign to join the rest of society and come down off your lofty pedestal, you might find that people don’t roll their eyes when you talk.

    • :D says:

I can recognize a rockstar by the bulge in his pants. this is no different. objectifying? yes, very. but these people let themselves get objectified for a living, so whatever

    • krypto092108 says:

Good Bye… The site will improve as soon as you go…

    • Equality Now says:

So after the men enjoy a good long look at breasts, under the guise of trying to guess who the woman is, do the women get to try to guess which guy is which by getting to stare at a gratuitous crotch shot? Or perhaps some naked butt shots! That would be great!
If you’re going to objectify one sex, please objectify the other so that all may enjoy the slabs of meat human beings are turned into.

      • bob dole says:

that does happen. and just because it happens more for women just means your better to look at. slabs of meat is all we are so just dont look as good as ms. alba here, so they get offended.

        • Orly? says:

(Zabinatrix, this is not directed at you, just the general thread.)

Mark Walburg doesn’t count. The decision of this site to start doing a Cleavage Guess Who is degrading to women. While I do agree it would be fair to do a every-other-time version (m/f/m/f/etc.), the fact that we have to justify doing this Guess Who implicitly shows that it objectifies the person in the picture. Furthermore, the women’s photographs have them looking off away from the camera. Mark Walburg is more or less looking at the camera. This difference is an example of an art historical term called the gaze. The women are being looked at and do not meet the eyes of the viewer, but the man is looking at the viewer. The one viewing the photo in the case of the women is inherently more powerful than and objectifies her, but the man is put on an equal standing with the viewer. So, yeah, it initially seems all is fair, but this is still allowing an imbalance of power between the sexes.

Also, to whomever said Feminazi, go to hell. Just because women want equal rights does not mean they’re fascists.

          • Zabinatrix says:

For the most part, I’d agree. I do not encourage objectification in general. The link was mostly a reply of the tired “this would never ever happen with a picture of a man”-kind of comment. Because the truth is that even if you’re right that there are qualitative differences, there is still a definite comparison – the same kind of thing does happen with men.

And I do think that you’re reading too much into where people are looking – especially since the faces are completely covered up in the initial image. I think it’s *possible* that subconscious sexism can be behind the choice of images, but I believe that it’s more likely that it’s simply a matter of available images. Women can show off cleavage in many situations and from many angles, but pictures of hot manly abs are usually posed for – and in most posed images the model will look at the camera.

            Hopefully shorter point:
I recognize the problem of sexism in our society – both on conscious and subconscious levels. Since there is a continued oppression of women and a real power imbalance in the world (even if things have been getting slowly better); these discussions are important and I won’t deny that there is a measure of sexism here that should be criticized. I just think that it’s important to not read too much into things.

Not everyone has deep thoughts about power imbalances and the nature of feminism when they are to select a cleavage picture and an abs picture for a bit of a lame joke for a website. Maybe they should – in a better world we would all think of those things until sexism in eradicated – but I don’t think there was any intentional sexism in the choice of this picture and the Wahlberg one.

(nope, that wasn’t shorter – my sense of brevity failed me again :) )

      • Shipoopi says:

you’re not very bright, are you?

    • Shipoopi says:

I’m sure you’ll be sorely missed.

    • Kim says:

No offense but I didn’t see you posting any complaints when they did “guess who’s abs”. I think I seea double standard here. If its ok to show the abs its ok to show cleavage. I am of the opinion if you got flauntit and Jessica definitely has it.

    • bored says:

wow u r SUCH A NERD go ahed leave this site it will be waayy better without you!

  5. Stella_tigre says:

  6. Lummox says:

  7. brmbug says:

    Firsteenth!

    Deal with it.

  8. Dan says:

I wish I could identify a female celebrity by just looking at their boobs. Call it NIS… Nipple Identitty System.

  9. Pichiruchi says:

The day we stop objectifying men or women our specie will be doomed. We girls use cleavage cuz we are proud of our boobs, they are there to be seen, that is why they exist. Hurray for boobs!

    • What. says:

No, breasts exist so that a female mammal can feed her infant child until said child can eat hard food. There is furthermore a difference between sexual attraction and objectification. Objectification is when one degrades an individual to the status of a mere object, but many animals search for mates that are aesthetically pleasing to their species and appear to be good caretakers. The kiwi, for example, chooses her mate based on how well he builds a nest.

However, breasts are there to attract mates, but that is because evolution has caused men to be attracted to certain aspects of the female form. Those aspects would allow for a healthier offspring and easier childbirth. On a related note, this is why women like more masculine faces on men. In the days before antibiotics, when a male with high testosterone levels survived to adulthood, he would be an ideal mate because his immune system would be of higher quality than a less masculine male because testosterone suppresses the immune system. Unfortunately, higher testosterone levels in many mammals make for more promiscuous males, so females may choose males with lower amounts of testosterone so that they would have a long-term mate that would care for the offspring and have a more or less decent immune system.

  10. miz says:

If a woman does want something ogled…just don’t put it on display. Three cheers for modesty!

  11. Asha says:

I wonder what it would look like from a regular angle. I kind of agree that this angle was a bit much, you can’t even see her face (and isn’t that the whole point of this theme going on? identification?) In summation, it would be okay if you could see the same amount of cleavage from an eye-level view, but I’m not gonna go google the dress to see for myself…it’s Jessica Alba, not anyone important.

  12. feyangel says:

appreciating beautiful bodies is not the same thing as objectifying women. It’s not like you’re saying these people have no other positive attributes. It’s a bit of harmless fun and everyone can relax a little. I can tell you, as a woman with (entirely natural) D-cups and a 22-inch waist, I do not mind having my body appreciated one bit. And you know what? If, some days, I don’t feel like having my cleavage ogled, I don’t wear clothes that show it off.

  13. erinporrazzo says:

    AMANDA BYNES!

  14. Vikavid says:

Because as men we don’t really care all that much if another guy has a better body. We are too full of ourselves to let it bother us much. But some women feel as though they do not get the respect they want from men, and see anything that appeals to a man’s most basic desire as a bad thing for women. However, some other women are able to appreciate the human body, both male & female, for the work of art that it is. I can find no other example in nature of what an artist our creator may be, whether that artist is nature itself, or a Supreme Being. Either way, I see the naked form much the same way as I would the art works in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

  15. Tyler says:

    ICARLY! wait..

  21. taiga says:

Appreciation of a female body is lovely presented in this one. It’s taken on a red carpet. And she’s a mrs, though didn’t change her name. She’s a mother. And those lovely boobs have fed her child. There. If you’re so jealous of her beutiful body and clevage, cry some and have an icecream. Let the rest of us enjoy.
And it’s Whalberg. Mark _Whalberg_. Also known as a badass rapper Marky Mark.Used to be a manmodel for Calvin Kline. So obviously he’s looking at the camera.
