   I’ve never seen this show. Is it not a sitcom? It is terribly acted, from what I see here.

     DIAF!

     Now, in a more civil tone, the show is f**king awesome. It’s Bryan f**king Cranston and the characters face a lot of stress and it’s a very awkward situation. Sorry for judging you, but you must have terrible taste. Way to judge a book by its cover. Ok, now more helpful: it’s about a terminally ill cancer patient whose son has cerebral palsy and his wife was pregnant (with the baby, this is season 3). He had 6 months to live (obviously got better) and became a meth cook. I may contradict myself here: I’m not easily impressed but that’s right away the best f**king premise to any TV show in history. It’s hard drama Watch it. Heavy stuff.

       Oh yes, it is hilarious, but the humor is extremely dark. Even its wiki page classifies it partly as Black Comedy, which it has in spades. But it’s mostly situationally comedic by irony and other grander elements that would only make people with very discerning tastes and cynical viewpoints laugh. It has very elegant ways of making horrible deaths look optimistic. The show is pure brilliance. It’s simply not a sitcom, just a perspective-giving story on how what looks daunting to us can be pretty funny in a larger scale.
