Some really lonely (and possibly crazy) person started a blog that features captions of actor Ryan Gosling embracing femininity and celebrating the beautiful mystery that is woman.
As a man, I don’t understand anything that’s going on here.

as a woman, I’m not sure I understand either…
I was just thinking that.
Me too!
I understand he’s got a sweet ass.
Ahahaha, love it!
This is hilarious!
TL;DR, All I read was “Blah, blah, blah…I’m a hottie that looks good with my shirt off.”.
i really don’t get the appeal of him…
also that 1st one sounds like the worst Saturday ever
I think many of these are completely hilarious and others are too “Women’s Liberal Arts College Degree in Women’s Studies” for me. That’s saying something about the average woman.
I’m torn.
He’s kinda cute, and him saying this stuff is amusing.
And, maybe it’s because I’ve always been ‘one of the guys’ and not very girlie, but all that just made my skin itchy. Seems that the people who would say such things are more damaging to women than any beer commercial ever could be.
I have to agree with Pooslie, that would be THE worst Saturday ever. Get me some wings and football, and we have a date.
You’ve embodied the fifth one down. Just because you don’t understand something doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
Same reply to you as to the guy below you. Too serious!
Honestly, I wasn’t making social commentary here. Just a quick comment before work. I never thought I’d come home and find 2 posts like this waiting for me.
You both need to take the massive sticks from your butts. Goodness.
Wait….so you make a comment and get upset when people disagree and voice that opinion in a ration, well thought out manner?
You’ve been on the interwebs before right?
Talk about somebody needing to remove a stick from their ass. Jeebus.
The thing is, you WERE making social commentary by suggesting that women are more damaged by feminist theory than by actual media portrayals that make women exclusively objects of sexualization. Yes, beer commercials are harmful to women. Yes, theory can also be harmful to women. But guess what more women encounter on a daily basis! Beer commercials! So yes, they are more harmful just because they have more exposure.
I’ll be honest, I’m not sure that not being a girly girl isn’t really a reason to dislike feminist ideology; I mean I’m gonna bet that Margaret Atwood doesn’t spend her days having sleep overs and painting her nails.
And I’m not saying that you necessarily ought to know about this stuff, I’ll be honest I don’t either, but I don’t think its fair to judge an ideology based on some made up quotes referencing a complex belief system very very shallowly and give no context or reasons… It just seems a bit prejudiced against feminism I mean do you have any facts to back up your assertion?
Also, the joke is that chatting about feminism with an attractive man isn’t really that interesting to most people… Its a joke…
hahaha
Wow, you’re WAY too serious today. Really, dude?
I can’t tell if you’re trolling or if you’re actually this tight-arsed.
Someone caring about something = trolling? Since when?
Yeah, I’m definitely not a girly-girl and I LOVE feminist theory (or even better: gender theory!).
I didn’t know Ryan Gosling is gay?!?
blah blah blah Christoph Waltz! blahblahblah blah Pitt-wannabeblah.
Am I being anti-feminist if I construe that Ryan Gosling is a hottie and can talk about anything he wants as long as he talks to me?
bassett hound look-a-like?
They would be funnier if they weren’t as long and specific. The idea is kinda funny though.
It is the old idea of a man telling a woman what he thinks she wants to hear so he can get in her pants.
HAHAHAHAHA
ryan gossling can now go straight to hell
This must be a joke specifically for me, because it is both hilarious, fairly hawt (I don’t have any clue who Ryan Gosling is, but as a visual alone he ain’t bad), and manages to stroke my feminist bone the right way all at once.
Y’all need a good dose of Bell Hooks’ writing. She’s awesome.
