We’re not done! Because nobody mentioned the error! I is clearly Indiana Jones, but the scene is from Raiders of the Lost Ark, the one Indy movie that did not start with I!
I agree! If you’re going with 80′s films you got to stick with the original 80′s title! the letter “I” is clearly and error on the artists part. The truth must be told!
A: Excuse me sir, I speak Jive.

“I want him dead! I want his family dead! I want his house burnt to the ground! I wanna go there in the middle of the night and I wanna piss on his ashes!”
I almost corrected you and said “First Blood Part 2: Rambo”, but IMDB has a different opinion. I owned a trilogy boxed set a while ago, and the way I said it is how it was on the box.
And upon further inspection, I’m 100% wrong. Carry on.
“I” is incorrect. The image is from “Raiders of the Lost Ark”. That was the movies actual title. “Indiana Jones” was added to the second and following movie titles but was not in the first.
Yes, in that the film was originally released as “Raiders of the Lost Ark” and then was retroactively named “Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark” after Temple of Doom was released.
However three Indiana Jones films were released in the 80s. Arguably, the scene in which Jones grabs the idol from the first film is one of the most recognizable (along with running from the boulder). The point is that it’s Indiana Jones in terms of the whole franchise, which was enormously popular throughout the decade and, along with Star Wars, launched Harrison Ford’s career.
B is Back to the Future
Flight of the Navigator
Mannequin
Princess Bride
I’m guessing Q is…Q, or Q: The Winged Serpent.
V is possibly V, the TV movie.
Weird Science
Y and Z I have no idea, but Smogzilla is probably right.
I call shenanigans! F should be Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. It is far more iconic of the 80s than Flight of the Navigator. Don’t get me wrong. I love Flight of the Navigator, but come on …
Princess Bride/Pretty in Pink/Purple Rain/Pee Wee’s Big Adventure; Fast Times at Ridgemont High; Willow; Quiet Earth; Valley Girl; Weekend at Bernie’s; Young Einstein;
Everything but F, M, Q, V, Y, Z.
F = Flight of the Navigator
Princess Bride
Weird Science
Y= Youngbloods?
M= Mannequin
Q: “Q: The Winged Serpent” – http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084556/.

What year was Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom?
1984 and Last Crusade came out in 1989. After Temple of Doom, Raiders was retro-named to be titled “Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark.”

“Docta’ Jones” is from Temple of Doom…
May I recommend “Bad dates…”?
No you may not. I’ve had plenty already.
“I want him dead! I want his family dead! I want his house burnt to the ground! I wanna go there in the middle of the night and I wanna piss on his ashes!”
Indeed. Or, “He brings a knife, you pull out a gun. He puts one of yours in the hospital? You put one of his in the morgue.”
“You can get further with a kind word and a gun than with just a kind word.”
That’s the Chicago way!
or
Here endeth the lesson.
You are not wrong. I was about to make the same comment.
Your answer to B is about as funny as a screen door on a battleship.
And “Rambo: First Blood Part II” would be the full title.

B is totally Marty Mcfly. It doesn’t even look like Bender.

I think “Highlander” would have been a better choice for H.
“Untouchables” is fine, but I like “UHF” better!
I really have to agree with you.
Z = Zelig
It’s “Youngblood,” not “Young Bloods.” The main character (Rob Lowe)’s name was Dean Youngblood. Geesh.
Thank you !!! They were driving me nuts calling it Young Bloods LOL
Mannequin
I knew all of them except J, O, M, Q, T, U, X, Y, and Z. I should have known what T was though.

If I’m not mistaken they were all “Indiana Jones and the _______”. The ‘_____’ part becoming the shortened title. Yes? No?
isn’t “B” Back to the Future? That really looks like Marty McFly to me….
Can somebody please educate these kids who think that Michael J Fox was in the Breakfast Club and assure them B is Back to the Future.

Blade Runner is more culturally significant than Back to the Future.
I agree. Time to die.
p = princess bride because the picture has Andre The Giant in it
TMA-1
you are nuts. the correct phrase is
‘funny as a screen door on a submarine.’
I’m surprised to see no mention of “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” here.
