Can anyone tell me which movie the music is from? I know I should recognize it, but I just can’t remember the name. :(

    • lilloudmouse says:

I know that some of it’s from Dinosaur (most of the vocal-inclusive bits, I think), and the very last section of music is from DragonHeart (which isn’t a Disney title, but still some pretty powerful scoring.)

I might give this another listen through ’cause I think there might be more lol. Hope that helps :)

      • lexilove says:

I vaguely remember that being in Mulan, I think? the dragon heart one. and the first part is from The Hunchback of Notre Dame

        • Rommie says:

I think they used it in some of the ads for Mulan when it first came out, maybe thats why you vaguely remember it being associated with it?

    • Sneakermoose says:

In order, the music is from:
      Hunchback of Notre Dame (0:00)
      Dinosaur (0:23)
      Dragonheart (2:19)

  2. OriginalPrincesses says:

I found myself rage-faced when I saw Rapunzel was included…

    • Rhainnan says:

It wasn’t nearly as good as old school Disney, but it’s what this generation’s got…

      Also, it was pretty.

    • plasticfroggy says:

Wait, what? Rapunzel may not have had the strongest story, but it terms of animation (what this clip is about) it was AMAZING! You have no idea how hard even a few inches of hair is to animate in CGI, and Rapunzel had several FEET!

    • Jessy says:

As I’m sure you did with Tiana, right? Because she’s not an “original Princess”. Mulan either. Please get over yourself. If it were up to people like you we’d have Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Ariel. All the other princesses came after the 90s. Things have to grow and change or movies will just be one sequel after another…

  3. Marya says:

Are you sure this isn’t paid advertizing?

  4. CW says:

When it played the Lion King about running from your past I was kind of hoping to see a clip from Song of the South.

  5. someone_you_dont_know says:

*sniff* I’m sorry, I think i have something manly in my eyes

  6. Anon says:

*insert totally awesome Kingdom Hearts reference here*
I approve the inclusion of Dalmatians!

  7. :3 says:

This pretty much sums up my entire childhood….

  8. jasymin says:

    i cried :’)

  9. what… this? a tear? no, my good man, you are mistaken. it’s only… i have a speck of childhood sentiment caught in my eye is all… *removes monocle to wipe eye, then wipes said monocle*

  10. Viviel says:

    Oh Mufasa ;____; Whyyyy?

  11. KaptainKlancy says:

    I frickin’ love Disney.

  12. Francesa says:

Walt Disney was fired by a newspaper editor because, “he lacked imagination and had no good ideas.” After that, Disney started a number of businesses that didn’t last too long and ended with bankruptcy and failure. He kept plugging along, however, and eventually found a recipe for success that worked.
    My hero and my example.

  13. Dorkus says:

    Told myself I wouldn’t cry…

    I won’t cry…

HEY YOU PUT THE ONIONS HERE?!

Who wants to join me in a Disney-fest? There are plenty of movies I haven’t seen in years.

    • Jessy says:

Can we start at Snow White and just watch for days? I mean, work’s not THAT important, right?

      Right?

    • thisguyisbored says:

I tell my self that every time i see “The Lion King”, “The Fox and the Hound”, “Pinocchio”, and all the ones from the 90′s back. Does it work, well lets just say i prefer to watch Disney movies alone.

  14. Desmondus says:

I think the emotion was more a testament to the score than the animation itself, however, still beautiful to watch.

  15. Ahiru77 says:

Rapunzel in there, but no Frog Princess. :(

  16. Vikavid says:

For me, the saddest one was, oddly, Fox and the Hound. That one gets me more than any other.

  17. z says:

    I freaking cried

  18. thisguyisbored says:

When i get asked “Sum up your child hood?” i simply smile and say “Disney”.

Ps for some unknown reason dust always finds its way in to my eyes.
