   To be fair, Shane is sort of a ticking time bomb. But on the other hand, Lori is really f*cking useless………

   I’m with MysteriaKiito. Well, in the first episode before Rick was in the hospital, Shane even then made a comment that made me give a look of “Seriously? You already strike me as an ass.” A slight ass tendency, add a zombie apocalypse, thinking your partner might be dead so you screw his wife then find out he isn’t dead and they want to continue where they left off, then top it off with Shane and Rick both pretty much in the alpha male position, it’s going to be a big blow up. Personally, if I were Lori, I’d totally be telling my man the same thing. Then again, I think I’m a bit more useful than Lori, so that might make things a bit different.

     Whatever happens, Lori is far too weak and passive to really do anything. Unless she gets a Crowning Moment of Awesome here sooner or later, in which case she’ll actually be likable.

     But they’re not. Kirkman has said he’s using the show as an avenue to explore different situations from the comic. Shane will be dead by the end of this season, guaranteed. Whether it will be Carl (ala comic) or Rick I can’t make my mine up on yet.
