Everybody loves The Boss, but let’s be serious here – the guy can’t dance for sh*t.
Just try and watch some of this hilarious footage from the original “Dancing in the Dark” video, before The Boss hired Brian De Palma to take over and add some Courney Cox to the equation, and try not to cringe.
Enjoy!
Apparently director Lars Von Trier feels pretty bad about what happened to poor ol’ Adolf Hitler, and decided to use his time at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this week to say some pretty shocking things while answering questions about “Melancholia”, his latest movie featuring Kirsten Dunst.
Von Trier, who also directed “Dancer in the Dark” and “Dogville”, said:
“But, come on, I’m not for the Second World War and I’m not against Jews. I am, of course, very much for Jews. No not too much, because the Israelis are a pain in the ass … How can I get out of this sentence? … OK. I’m a Nazi.”
Not content with his first Nazi joke falling flat, the director just kept pushing forward. When asked if he would do a larger film, Von Trier replied “Yes. We Nazis like to do things on a big scale. Maybe I could do The Final Solution.”
The bright spot in all of this is the way Kirsten Dunst reacted to Von Trier.

I’ve never been in a situation quite this awkward, but she handled it like a champ. You can actually see her having that “oh sh*t, oh sh*t, oh sh*t” moment in real time, which makes her all the more adorable.
Von Trier eventually apologized for his jokes, but was still ejected from the event by the Festival’s Board of Directors.
tl;dr – Director makes Nazi joke and Kirsten Dunst reacts awkwardly.
