At least one person feels Russell Brand will be a good father. The Mirror UK has quoted Katy Perry saying, “…one of the things to keep in mind is ‘Will he (Brand) be a good baby daddy?’ And he’ll be perfect.”

A ringing endorsement of parental ability from someone who’s also shown Stephen Hawking-like intellectual grasp of gender (“I kissed a girl”), opposites (“You’re hot then you’re cold, you’re yes then you’re no”) and subtle euphemism (“Ca-li-for-nia girls… we’ll melt your popsicle”). Oh, and bra sizes. I’d like to look her in the eyes to see if she means it, but let’s be honest: I’ve never looked at her face.

I know that British comedy is quite popular around here, and so I became curious: What is your favorite British comedy series? Let us know by voting in the poll (or telling us in the comments)!

I will have to split my vote between any “programme” starring Jennifer Saunders and/or Dawn French, Julia Davis’ delightfully sick and twisted Nighty Night, Black Books, Spaced, Green Wing, Father Ted, and Fawlty Towers. But I reserve some love for The Doctor, as well.
