Celebrity Tweets - Christopher Nolan, The Dark Knight Rises

Start gathering your camping-outside-the-theater gear, because the next Christopher-Nolan-directed Batman film is hitting theaters in July 2012, and it officially has a title: “The Dark Knight Rises.”

That’s the good news. The bad news is that, if you were expecting Batman to face off against The Riddler, you are out of luck. Nolan confirmed that The Riddler will not feature in the new movie, though he did not name another villain. Who do you think it will be?

Because I hate to end things on a bad note: Remember that “Inception’s” Tom Hardy will have a large role in the film. Badass!

If two irrelevant and annoying actors hate each other, does anyone care? You be the judge.

Shia LaBeouf took a dig at Frankie Muniz on a radio show saying, “While that’s flattering as hell, you could have put Frankie Muniz into any of the movies I’ve been in and it would’ve still been No. 1.”

Muniz hit back hard on Twitter (because he is so incredibly irrelevant that he couldn’t even GET a radio interview) with, “Dear Shia LaBeouf, it’s getting creepy the fact that you can’t stop talking about me. It’s been 12 years now. I don’t know you. Thanks.”

Who got the better jab? I think probs LaBeouf.

I haven't gotten this smashed since... yesterday

Lindsay Lohan is out of rehab and doing dumb stuff! First, 2 weeks after getting out of court ordered rehab after a stint in jail, she “tweets” that she  failed a drug test. Classy and appropriate. Secondly, just a few days after that reports come out that she was wasted whilst texting the world she had relapsed. Loves it!

Apparently LiLo and her friends were sitting around wasted deciding exactly how to tweet her news. Reports say her assistant was on hand to keep feeding her Jack and cokes. Wait a second, there is something fishy about this story. There’s NO way Linds was drinking Jack and coke.  She likes Jack and DIET coke. Sheesh.

That skinny British comedian in the tight pants, Russell Brand, was arrested on Friday after a paparazzo started taking “up skirt” pictures of Katy Perry. (Um, you don’t need to point your camera up there, you just need to wait for her to make a music video or shoot an album cover.)  Brand protected Katy’s honor by “getting physical” with the photog. The paparazzo couldn’t fight off the stick n’ bones comic and made a citizen’s arrest. Wow. That is lame. Lamer still, the airport rent-a-cops got involved. Saddest celeb arrest ever? Probs. But just because he tweeted all about it when he got “out.”

I always had a sneaking suspicion that Twitter was for dummies and now, Fast Company confirms it. They report that the Kardashian sisters – Kim, Kourtney and Khloe – are the MOST INFLUENTIAL celebrities on the social networking website (based on click-through rates). More influential than Al Gore and the President. Yup, folks on Twitter are more impressed with sex tapes than Nobel Prizes.
