Troubled singer Amy Winehouse was found dead at her home in Camden, north London earlier today Sky News reports.
Paramedics arrived at the scene to try and save the singer, but Winehouse was reported to be “beyond help” and passed away around 4pm this afternoon. It is believed that Winehouse died of a drug overdose, but as of now London Police are treating her death as “unexplained” until an autopsy is performed.
A spokesman for Amy Winehouse said:

Today marks the anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s 1994 suicide (or murder, as some believe), and it’s hard for me to believe 17 years have gone by.
In 1994, writer Neil Strauss attempted to chronicle Kurt’s last days, in a piece entitled “Kurt Cobain’s Downward Spiral” which is available over at Rolling Stone for free. Here is an excerpt from Neil’s story:
The days after Cobain’s death were filled with grief, confusion and finger pointing for all concerned. “Everyone who feels guilty, raise your hand,” Love told MTV the morning after Cobain was found. She said she was wearing Cobain’s jeans and socks and carrying a lock of her husband’s blond hair. According to Billig, a doctor was summoned to stay with Love at all times. “She’s a strong enough person that she can take it,” says Craig Montgomery, who was scheduled to manage a since-canceled spring tour for Hole.
RIP Kurt. You will be missed.
