If you’re a fan of the most maniacal movie nerd on the planet (as I am), you know there’s a few possible projects on Quentin Tarantino’s pipeline—a bloody medieval epic with Helen Mirren, a Kill Bill sequel, a Basterds sequel.

But a reboot of “The Shadow”? Really?

The lurky comic book character that was last portrayed by Alec Baldwin attempting to look like Brandon Lee from “The Crow,” but word is the director plans on pulling from the character’s darker radio show portrayl. The hero seems worthy of Tarentizing, but as someone who has empirically found Baldwin attractive my entire life—his performance in the trailer for the 1994 film actually ruined 26 years of adoration.  I beseech you to watch.

And moreover I beseech you to pray that this movie doesn’t suck.
