Jareth, the galleria of goblins
-Jennifer Connelly, David Bowie

Jim Henson‘s “Labyrinth” was released 25 years ago today, starring the beautiful Jennifer Connelly as Sarah and the mysterious, super sexy David Bowie as Jareth the Goblin King.
To celebrate the silver anniversary of this one-of-a-kind film, here is the full hour-long behind the scenes documentary “Inside The Labyrinth.” Enjoy!

I don’t know about anyone else, but after watching “Requiem for a Dream” and seeing Jennifer Connelly’s ‘ass-to-ass’ scene I just couldn’t get that shot out of my head. Not like in a creepy way, but whenever I see her in anything my brain kicks in and I start a fake conversation with ‘Pretendifer Connelly’, as I like to call her, which usually goes something like this:
“Hey, remember when that gross old dude told you to go ass-to-ass with that other chick and you TOTALLY did it?! Hahahaa, oh man that was f**ked up!” And Pretendifer is all, “You are the creepiest person I’ve never met. You’re like that stalker from The Bodyguard who kind of looked like Michael Bay, only WAY worse.”
Then we kiss. It’s pretty cool and not creepy at all, I assure you…
So, to honor Jennifer Connelly’s incredible acting ability, physical beauty, and especially her wild, untamed eyebrows, I decided to re-title the posters of her most beloved movies into a low-brow tribute to one of my favorite scenes of cinema. Enjoy!
